The wind power boom has congested applications for special transportation permits


According to the ELY Centre's press release, the application queue for special transport permits has been very long from time to time this year, and the total number of applications has increased by as much as 25% compared to previous years. The number of permit applications is expected to rise to 12,500 this year. The transport of parts of windmills is currently concentrated in the regions of Central Finland and Ostrobothnia.
