Climate emissions in Northern Ostrobothnia have decreased by almost 8% per year

In the measurement by the Finnish Environment Institute, municipal emissions decreased, especially in terms of electricity consumption and heating. The climate emissions of the municipalities of Northern Ostrobothnia have decreased in 2020 compared to the previous year by 7.6%, the corresponding figure for the whole country is 8.7%. The decrease in the use of electricity has been affected by the decrease in the use of fossil fuels and the warm year.
