Häme wind power study: Many municipal officials consider the benefits of wind power to be greater than the disadvantages

According to a study by the Häme ELY Center, there is often opposition from residents on the road to building wind power. The study collected the views of Kanta-Häme and Päijät-Häme municipal officials, trustees and non-governmental organizations on wind power. There were 57 responses, the majority from municipal officials. The majority of respondents (64%) considered the benefits of wind power to outweigh its disadvantages. 15 respondents pointed out that if wind power projects are not started in Häme, there is a probable reason for the residents' opposition.
