The former peat bog is becoming a unique energy center in Central Ostrobothnia

A new energy center is planned for Toholammi in Central Ostrobothnia, which will combine solar power, wind power, a biogas plant and a hydrogen plant into a new unique entity. According to Lapin Voima Oy, the new production plant could be operational in a couple of years, if everything goes according to plan. The Toholammi hybrid project is said to be the future and is a good example of the system-level energy integration that is being pursued.
