The wind triangle continues to develop projects in northern Finland
The wind triangle has nine projects under development, mainly in northern Finland. The total rated power of the current projects in the wind triangle is over 700MW, or about 140 power plants. The more backward locations and numbers of power plants will be confirmed as project licensing processes and wind measurements progress. The target for 2028 for new wind power capacity is 1.25GW, equivalent to 250 power plants. We will provide more detailed information on the locations and development stages of the projects on the soon-to-be-launched new website.
